When it comes to things to do in Mallorca, you won't be short of options. The biggest of the Balearic Islands has a lot to offer. There's a lot to be appreciated, from historic attractions and art galleries to the iconic Tito's nightclub and luxury restaurants. While we can't list them all, we're going to share some of the highlights of Mallorca. So, if you're in search of things to do in Mallorca, look no further.
Go Wine Tasting in Binissalem
If you're a fan of excellent wine, a trip to the charming country town of Binissalem should most definitely be on the agenda. The quaint town is the epicentre of one of Mallorca's wine-producing areas and is home to several wineries that you can visit.
When you're not sipping on wine, you can bask in the laid-back atmosphere of the sleepy town as a warm welcome awaits at several restaurants.
Board the vintage train from Palma to Sóller
If you're in Palma or Sóller, a vintage train ride comes highly recommended. The restored old-train takes you between Palma and the country town through the impressive Serra de Tramuntana mountains. As you journey through the UNESCO World Heritage Site, you can expect picture-postcard views as you enjoy a unique ride on the charming train.
Both Palma and Sóller are home to plenty of excellent cafes, restaurants and bars. For us, Café Paris is an excellent option for a laid-back lunch in Sóller while Salvia Restaurant and Aires de Japon are also firm favourites.
Kick back at Puro Beach Club
While you'll find plenty of beach clubs in Mallorca, Puro is the original and arguably still the best. Thanks to its location on a tiny peninsula, you'll enjoy fabulous views with an atmosphere to match. The beach club is home to an excellent restaurant serving Mediterranean favourites, a cocktail bar, DJ sessions and a massage service.
For us, Puro is best for an evening cocktail as it's one of the best spots to enjoy the sunset on the island.
Visit the history-rich Artà
As one of the oldest towns in Mallorca, Artà offers up an atypical slice of Mallorcan culture and history. The hilltop town is home to lots of arty little cafes and shops that enjoy an impressive backdrop. Head to the hilltop Sanctuary of Sant Salvador for spellbinding views of the island or visit the ancient ruins, whatever your preference, you'll fall in love with arty Artà.
Spend the day at sea
The impressive coastline of Mallorca is just waiting to be explored. As home to clear water covers, white sandy beaches and rugged cliffs, you'll want to see what all the fuss is about. If you're keen to take to the water and discover the enchanting island by boat, Dynamic Lives can arrange a private boat charter for you.
From the moment you leave the shore until the moment you return, you'll be in control of your experience. Whether you want to discover secluded beaches and hidden restaurants or scuba diving and water sports is on the agenda, we can make it happen. No matter your preference, you can rest assured a private charter in Mallorca will be a day to remember.
Wander in the Alfabia Gardens
Sitting at the foot of the Serra de Tramuntana mountain is the fascinating Alfabia Gardens. Originally part of a thirteenth-century estate, the romantic and peaceful gardens are home to jasmine and orange blossom spring, offering a perfect retreat from the sun.
The estate is a real mix of styles and cultures, complemented by lush gardens complete with fountains, palms and flowers. Trust us; it's worth a visit.
Party in style at Nikki Beach
If the laid-back vibe of Puro Beach is a little too relaxed for you, Nikki Beach is sure to tick some boxes. By day, the chic beach club is the epitome of glitz and glamour. As night falls, it comes alive with DJ's and entertainment turning up the heat. Plus, with indoor and outdoor dining options, a cocktail bar, the Nikki Beach Lifestyle boutique and beachside beauty treatments, you could easily spend your days here.
The restaurant boasts an impressive array of dishes, featuring Mediterranean classics and fashions from around the world. Plus, a Nikki Beach Mojito certainly hits the spot.
Indulge in tapas at OMBU
Of course, no Spanish getaway is complete without plenty of tapas. Perhaps one of the best tapas spots on the island is the beloved OMBU. The chic location is the perfect place to kick off the night as you'll get to indulge in gourmet tapas with a unique Asian twist. With an impressive cocktail menu as varied as the food, you'll be spoilt for choice at this tapas hotspot.
Party the night away in Palma
As night falls, Palma truly comes alive. While the town may have a slightly tarnished reputation, there are plenty of upmarket bars and clubs to be enjoyed. Whether you head to the iconic Pacha or Tito's or you want to roll back the year at Kaelum, good vibes are aplenty in Palma.
